how to install an ADDITIONAL ram
Below are a set of images and instructions on how you can add an additional RAM , i will need to write a full account of i how the installation were carried out step by step .
The above are the equipment I may need to use to install the Ram , I will be using the anti static wrist band for health and safety reasons . The reason why I will be using the antistatic wrist band is because of personal safety so you don’t get any electric shots and also for the safety of the computer electronic components so you don’t discharge any static electricity (that’s like when you shock someone ), so it don’t destroy any components of the motherboard.
You will need to switch of the switch where your motherboard is plugged into for healthy and safety reasons .
You will need to open the top panel of the motherboard.
This is the inside of the motherboard, as you can see I have put on the antistaic band for health and safety reasons and attached the corracdile to the motherboard . You can attach the end part of the rist band anywhere around the mtherbaord .
This is the slots where I wilI be attaching an additional Ram.
This is how you hold the Ram by touching the both to end of the side. In the ram you can see a little u shape cut, this is deisgned so you can only put the ram in the right way.
There is to slots I can attach the additionl Ram to I will attach it to the first slot , you will need to press down with equal pressure to both sides and then you will ned to lock the ram by locking both sides .
I can now turn on the switch to check if the ram is working .
